Due to 用法

Due to 與 owing to 分別

 

Due to 是adjectival, 所以前面要由be 帶出。

 

例: His absence was due to getting flu.

例: Her coming late was due to the traffic jam.

例: My dissatisfaction towards my job is mainly due to insufficient pay.

 

Owing too 是adverbial, 所以不必由be 帶出 (可與because of 互換)。

 

例: His did not go to school owing to getting flu.

例: Owing to the traffic jam, she came late.

例: I am dissatisfied towards my job owing to insufficient pay.
